My art itself is largely a kinetic response to the world. Through painting I participate in the beauty that I see and bring it more deeply into my experience and understanding. I am inherently process driven and I enjoy most the paintings that show lines, brush strokes and movement. My artwork is representational, but my intent is to convey the feeling, the expression and the energy I see in nature and in the faces of people.
